The relocation of two old service depots to one brand new purpose built ‘super’ facility for Birmingham City Council.  The project includes a two-story office building, extensive welfare facilities, vehicle depot and maintenance area alongside a large parking area equipped with EV charging points.

Electrical infrastructure has been installed to accommodate future DC rapid chargers for electric refuse collection vehicles.

Electrical services

• Installation of 2mva HV/LV transformer
• New 3200A switch panel board
• External feeder pillars serving installed and future EVC.
• Power and lighting to the office and welfare facility.
• Power and lighting including dedicated supplies to garage workshop facilities.

Mechanical services

• Cat5 cold water services.
• Central heating and cooling Via VRF ASHP
• Workshop destratification fans.
• MVHR Ventilation.
